Terms of Service

Effective October 13, 2026

The short version

  • Your setup fee is due before your site goes live.
  • The Care Plan is $69.99/month, billed automatically, starting on launch day.
  • 6-month minimum. Cancelling in the first 6 months costs $150.
  • After 6 months, it renews month to month until you cancel. No fee to cancel then.
  • If you cancel, we stop hosting and support, and once you're paid up we transfer your domain and website files to you.

1.Agreement

  1. 1.1These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between Frontlift ("we," "us") and the business we build or maintain a website for ("you").
  2. 1.2By paying a Frontlift invoice, checking the box at checkout, or subscribing to the Website Care Plan, you agree to these Terms.

2.Website setup

  1. 2.1The setup fee is a one-time charge, stated on your invoice.
  2. 2.2The setup fee is due before your website goes live.
  3. 2.3The setup fee is non-refundable once you have received your website preview.

3.Website Care Plan

  1. 3.1The Care Plan costs $69.99/month. It begins on the day your website goes live.
  2. 3.2Included: hosting, SSL, domain renewal, up to five (5) content updates per month, backups and support. Unused updates do not roll over.
  3. 3.3Not included: redesigns, new pages or features, new photography or video, and advertising. These are quoted separately.

4.Minimum term, automatic renewal & cancelling

The Care Plan has a six (6) month minimum term. If you cancel before the end of the first six months, a one-time early cancellation fee of $150 applies. After six months, the Care Plan renews automatically every month until you cancel.
  1. 4.1The early cancellation fee covers setup and onboarding costs we cover up front. It is a fair estimate of those costs, not a penalty.
  2. 4.2After the minimum term, you may cancel at any time with no fee.
  3. 4.3How to cancel: email or text Frontlift using the contact information on any Frontlift invoice or receipt. We will confirm your cancellation in writing.
  4. 4.4Your plan ends at the end of the month already paid for. Partial months are not refunded.

5.If you cancel

  1. 5.1When the Care Plan ends, we stop hosting the website, renewing the domain, making updates and providing support.
  2. 5.2Once all amounts owed are paid, including the early cancellation fee where it applies, we will transfer your domain and a full copy of your website files to you.
  3. 5.3Your website stays online until the end of your last paid month. After the transfer, hosting, domain renewal and any changes are your responsibility.
  4. 5.4A newly registered domain cannot be transferred until sixty (60) days after its purchase.

6.Payments

  1. 6.1Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment card $69.99 each month until you cancel, plus any early cancellation fee that applies.
  2. 6.2If a payment fails and is not corrected within fourteen (14) days, we may pause updates or take the website offline until the balance is paid.
  3. 6.3We will give at least thirty (30) days' notice by email before any price change.

7.General terms

  1. 7.1You own your website, and your domain is registered in your business's name.
  2. 7.2You confirm that you have the right to use all photos, logos and information you provide to us, and that the information is accurate.
  3. 7.3We are not responsible for third-party services, including ordering, delivery, payment and search platforms.
  4. 7.4Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the six (6) months before a claim. Neither party is liable for lost profits or indirect damages.
  5. 7.5We may update these Terms. Changes apply only after we email you notice, and you may cancel instead.
  6. 7.6These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
